Tiffany & Co. has recently launched a new program to promote traceability and transparency. Thus, the legendary jewelry company will be able to assure its customers about the country or region of origin of the over 18 carats stones.
"It is our duty to give customers this information", said CEO Alessandro Bogliolo, underlining the brand's interest in winning over the boyfriends of the future.

In addition, many buyers want to be sure that the stone they buy has not been produced by exploiting child labor or to finance wars and terrorism: "from now on every diamond sold by Tiffany will be engraved with a serial number and with every purchase the customers will receive a certificate on the origin of the stones ".
