According to Federpreziosi's report, in 2023, there are approximately 13,296 retail businesses dealing with watches, jewelry, and silverware in Italy, employing 33,890 people, generating an estimated total revenue of just under 5 billion euros. CAREER DAY OPENS DOORS TO WORK IN THE JEWELRY INDUSTRY

Oroarezzo welcomes the future generation of goldsmiths with the Career Day on Tuesday, May 14.

Varchi" in Montevarchi, Comprehensive Institute "G. Marcelli" in Arezzo, and artistic high schools "Piero della Francesca" in Arezzo and "G. Giovagnoli" in Sansepolcro, involving around a hundred students. The initiative presentation will feature speakers like Roberto Santi from ITS TAB Foundation and Paolo Torriti from the University of Siena, presenting the "Master in Jewelry History, Design, and Marketing." Exhibitors open to student inquiries will be marked with a special label onsite and on The Jewellery Golden Cloud, IEG's official app.

JEWELRY BETWEEN FINANCE AND RESPONSIBLE PROCUREMENT

Regulatory obligations, along with a growing demand for qualified information, impact every stage of the supply chain. The positive effect of diligent assessment or regulatory compliance on supplier companies provides an advantage for all client enterprises.

On Saturday, May 11, the experience of Arezzo-based company TCA SpA brings a panel discussion on "Responsible Sourcing" to the fair. On Tuesday, May 14, in collaboration with Allianz, professional operators at the fair can engage with credit protection specialists at a time when stability is crucial for the jewelry sector.
