Appointment at Palazzo della Fraternita dei Laici to inaugurate OROAREZZO 2018

A welcome aperitif to greet exhibitors and buyers on the opening day of the 39th edition of OROAREZZO scheduled for 5th May. An event in the name of beauty, hosted in one of Arezzo's most magical and historic places.

The Fraternita dei Laici was founded way back in 1262 under the name of “Fraternity of Saint Mary of Mercy” by a group of Dominican fathers with the aim of helping the poor and sick. With the aid of bequests and donations, the Fraternity was able to carry out great things for the city, including having the loggia designed by Giorgio Vasari built.

The aperitif will be hosted in the Fraternita dei Laici Palace in Piazza Grande, in the heart of the city. The building dates back to Gothic times but then underwent various phases of construction until 1552 with the completion of the façade, based on Vasari's design.

An inauguration amid history, beauty and new jewellery trends!
