From Oroarezzo 2022 a universal message of peace

“Life is a precious art. A jewel between past and present, between near and distant cultures that creates novelty and beauty. Agreements of light, splendor and peace ”. Beppe Angiolini, artistic director of Oroarezzo, summarizes the concept of great emotional and scenographic impact of the setting that will welcome exhibitors and operators to Arezzo Fiere e Congressi with olive trees and mirrors, on the occasion of the return in the presence of the event dedicated to Italian excellence and international jewelery from May 7 to 10.

Oroarezzo will be a fundamental moment of meeting and comparison between the main national and international players of #artofmanufacturing which brings together in particular the first part of the supply chain, from goldsmiths to cash and carry without forgetting the space dedicated to technological innovation, already underlined in the entrance to the exhibition center which reopens its doors to the business of the sector.

The president of Italian Exhibition Group Lorenzo Cagnoni thus comments on the role of Arezzo in the recovery of the gold and jewellery sector. "Three years after the last edition, the preparations for Oroarezzo can only be accompanied by the satisfaction of finally finding ourselves in favorable conditions to ensure that it will take place in the presence of a decisive appointment for the gold-jewellery sector. It is the testimony of the unanimous commitment and an ever stronger dialogue with the Arezzo protagonists of the Industry, institutions and trade associations. The collaboration continues with the stakeholders of a district that is fundamental for the success of Made in Italy jewellery in the world, always alongside IEG in the numerous initiatives with which we have kept the spotlight on this territory even during the pandemic, from Premiere Digital Edition in 2020. at We Are Jewelery and at the First Italian Jewellery Summit last year, in addition to international events such as Vicenzaoro and JGT Dubai, it proved to be strategic in the overall recovery of the entire sector. "

For the first citizen of Arezzo, Alessandro Ghinelli, on the other hand, the link between the city of Arezzo and gold is indissoluble and identifying. “After three long years, Oroarezzo is back in attendance and does so at an important historical moment for the entire goldsmith sector in Arezzo. Despite the uncertain situation, Arezzo is ready to welcome once again the best of “Made in Italy” goldsmiths and jewellery, with buyers from all over the world interested in doing business with the major companies in the sector. The bond between our land and gold is indissoluble and identifying, a vehicle of promotion and affirmation to which in recent years we have accompanied the development of its tourist and cultural vocation. The show represents a fundamental event, with a really important impact in economic terms and visibility: our entrepreneurs will not be caught unprepared, enthusiasm will not be lacking ".

Massimo Guasconi, President of the Arezzo Siena Chamber of Commerce also echoes him. "Oroarezzo is the promotional event of the most important goldsmith district in Italy, it returns to operators and buyers after two years of forced absence, confirming itself as a unique showcase for the production of jewellery from the best companies in Arezzo and Italy. High quality productions, the result of a heritage of tradition, technical skill, style and design that have allowed our companies, even in such a difficult period, to gain appreciation and sales success in international markets. A long-awaited return, which the Chamber of Commerce, partner of the event since its inception, can therefore only welcome with great satisfaction ".

Olive trees and mirrors will therefore welcome visitors to Oroarezzo 2022, conveying a message of peace. “Olive trees are the most meaningful trees that nature represents in Italy, particularly in Tuscany. They are a symbol of rhythm, but also of productivity thanks to oil, the essential element of our daily life. But also of the longevity, fatigue and torments of the human life represented by the thousand knots and contortions that often we see on trees, always different from each other like human beings” explains Beppe Angiolini. “Mirrors do nothing but manifest all this in a very topical reference, between reality and virtual image, but also comparison and empathy. The world of mirrors wants to be the world of men who communicate for a magnetic and enlightened future. In fact, light represents vision, awareness and wisdom. We are the olive trees in the mirror ”. A message for a universal event that wants to embrace the entire city of Arezzo and that is, continues Angiolini, "an extraordinary opportunity not only for the goldsmith district and for manufacturing, but also for commercial businesses as well as for its commercial and cultural excellence. artistic. The invitation is that all the souls of the city become the protagonists of Oroarezzo together with IEG and the institutions".
